We arrived in Gaborone, Botswana on November 1st, and soon after left for the village of Molepolole where we have been staying since. We will be living there until December in order get a better picture of traditional Setswana culture than we will get once we are back in Gaborone, as well as to get a start on learning the Setswana language. We will be able to give more of an update once we return to the city, but for now, here is a brief synopsis of our journey.
We flew into London, England, on our way to Botswana, via a brief stop in Johannesburg, South Africa. Thanks to a generous gift from some friends, we were able to stay in London for two nights, during which time we walked around the city and took in the sights. Here are just a few pictures from our time there. A number more are on our Flickr site, the link to which is at the bottom of the page.
